Jim White Wins Lifetime Achievement Award at 2010 EHS Conference The 2010 Childress-Loe-
bler Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Jim White (retired), Grede Foundries, Milwaukee, for his dedication, innovation and perseverance relating to environmental, health and safety (EHS) issues at the 22nd AFS EHS Conference. The conference was
held Aug. 23-25 at the Sheraton Music City Hotel, Nashville, Tenn. The Jona- than Stone Outstanding EHS Contribution Award, won by Dan Oman, RMT Inc., Ann Arbor, Mich., and Annual Service Awards also were presented at the event. EHS Conference included “Greenhouse Gas Compliance,” “The Facility of the Future—Cast- ing Manufacturing as a Green
Energy Center,” “Energy Conservation in the Metalcasting Facility” and “OSHA’s Top Violations in Metalcasting Facilities.” A tour of General Motors’ Corvette assembly plant also was given.

will cosponsor two North American Pavilions at GIFA and NEWCAST 2011,
to be held June 28-July 2, 2011, in Düs- seldorf, Germany. The North American Pavilion at
