Conductively Heated Troughs (CT)


Apogee’s CT relies on thermally conduc- tive BSPP sections impervious to metal attack through which heat transfer occurs by subsurface conduction and convection. Open launders result in temperature losses through radiation. Heated covers are maintenance intensive and relatively inefficient.
