Dalton Corp. Celebrates 100th Dalton Corp., Warsaw, Ind., cel-
ebrated its 100th year in business on
Sept. 9 by inviting the public to an open house tour of its facilities. “This is an opportunity for us to ac- knowledge our folks and the job they have done,” said Scott Bleeks, vice president and general manager. “They are contributing a lot of ideas to make us better, and that’s why we are still here.” Company executives said the open
house was an opportunity to educate the public about the products the gray iron metalcaster makes (primarily highly cored jobs like engine blocks and machine tool bases) and the methods it uses. Dalton Corp., acquired by Neenah
Foundry Corp., Neenah, Wis., in 1998, is today composed of the gray iron metalcasting facility in Warsaw and a machining facility in Stryker, Ohio. MC
Family members of employees and members of the community toured Dalton Corp. on Sept. 9 while casting production continued around them.
