With many from the oft-maligned genre known as fi dget house disappearing into whoopie cushion parp bass territory, Hijack (aka Jon Chant) has instead stuck to his guns, emerging from the inevitable backlash against it as a purveyor of the kind of tough boompty house it was originally born from.
