4 Hello all! Welcome to the September issue of Tomorrow’s Flooring.
This month, it’s all about trade shows. I can’t believe how quickly September has come around, but the Harrogate Flooring Show is finally upon us. After our in-depth preview last month, this issue I’ve taken a look at what I will personally be looking to get out of the event. Will it be the same for you?
Towards the end of the month, the Timber Expo launch event is coming to the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, and I’m sure many will agree that after too long, the timber trade finally deserves to have its own arena to discuss, share, and evolve the industry. Turn to page 66 to read more and look out for our review of the launch next month.
Apart from shows, we have focused on Woods and Laminates this month, and discovered why both are great surfaces in their own right. With input from Ted Todd and American Hardwood with regards to the ethical treatment of the forests, as well as online flooring guru Reneé LeCroy who gives a rundown on laminate flooring, there’s something for both sides of the real wood/fake wood debate.
Also in this issue, we’ve looked into Sports Flooring, and not just the floor itself, but what happens after the floor is installed to make it gym-ready. Check out our special feature on court markings to find out more.
