ne example of this buoyant mood is Screenprint Productions, operating from its new facility in Brighouse Yorkshire. The company's Martin Hicks was bullish about the performance of his screen printing department and his experienced team, whose expertise enabled Screenprint Productions to take on work that other printers couldn’t consider.

The company's considerable range of screen printing equipment is expanding with the acquisition of a four colour line and Martin already has jobs booked onto the equipment
before it is installed with the expectation of even more work as it comes on stream. Although Screenprint Productions also has digital printing facilities, both flatbed and roll fed, it is the screen printing department that really pulls in the profitable work. One of the keys to success is a solid approach to financing the continued growth of the company - namely never to be dependant on the banking industry. creating value for itself and its clients by finding new applications for screen printing. He sees the synergy between the processes and is able to provide product that has a value greater that the sum of its parts.
One to watch
Similar messages pervaded the Fespa exhibition, where all the evidence pointed to a thriving screen industry, including some innovative new products targeted at this sector.
