Jean de Merry Lumiere Chandelier: “As much a

piece of sculpture as it is a chandelier,” according to Pope, the Lumiere Chandelier is available in several siz- es ranging from 30 to 60 inches, as well as custom sizes. “Its thin metal rays mimic the form of long-needled pine boughs, making it equally at home in a Colorado moun- tain getaway or a Manhattan penthouse,” explains Pope, adding, “Softly glowing spheres are nestled among the rays, softening the overall look.” Michele Renault-Rutt of M. Renault Design in Dal-

las agrees with Pope’s description of the Lumiere as a work of art, revealing, “When I first saw it in the show- room, I thought it was so different than any other chan- delier I’ve seen. It’s so fresh, I couldn’t wait to use it.” A “wow” piece, claims Renault-Rutt, it has universal appeal and is extremely sophisticated at the same time. The available finish options are so numerous, she found it hard to choose just one, but in the end decided on the polished nickel finish and could not be more pleased with the result.

Marcali Designs Tuxedo Sofa: This sofa, along with

all of Marcali Designs’ products are created in a sustain- able and eco-friendly manner and built to last for gen- erations. A variety of customization options, including sizes, finishes and upholstery materials, are available for the Tuxedo, which measures 84”w x 34”d x 34”h. “Let your imagination be the maestro to this sonata as you select your own fabric for the upholstery,” Pope muses. He continues, “The classic lines of this sofa make it a timeless impression. This sofa can be floated where ev- ery line is enjoyed and every angle displayed to boast its

unprecedented character.” For David Call of David Call Interiors in Dallas, the

Tuxedo Sofa was a “shoe-in” when he selected pieces for a client who wanted a very clean, Art Deco-inspired home with a hint of Hollywood. The fact that the Cory Pope & Associates showroom has such a wonderful col- lection of fabrics made specifying the sofa and fabric easy as well. Call chose this sofa for its “wonderful de- tails combined with its simplicity” and remarked on its good quality and construction. He emphasizes, “My cli- ent likes to do things right the first time, as do I.”
