Matthews & Parker J.R. Tour Eiffel Coffee Table:

Part of Matthews & Parker’s French ‘50s Collection, the J.R. Tour Eiffel Coffee Table features a bronze iron frame with a ball and rod grid that can be specified in steel or brass. Measuring 48”w x 24”d x 18”h, this is a reproduction of a Jean Royer table. “It lends itself to various styles of décor, making it not only aesthetical- ly pleasing, but extremely versatile,” Pope articulates. Designers can chose from any of Matthews & Parker’s many finish options or provide their own to make this piece stand out “as tall as the Eiffel Tower in Paris,” quips Pope. Richard Tremble of Richard Tremble Associates,

Inc. in Dallas specified this table for its “clean lines and style.” He adds that this table works in a variety of environments. Tremble also points out that eclectic furnishings with cleaner lines are big in today’s design movement. The J.R. Tour Eiffel Coffee Table, as well as many of the other pieces at Cory Pope & Associates, fit very well within this movement.

Jean de Merry Viala Cabinet: “If you understand

quality and fine finishes, you, too, will fall in love with the Jean de Merry Viala Cabinet,” states Pope. Measur- ing 85”w x 24”d x 92”h and shown in antique yellow gold-leaf frame and antiqued willow shagreen with bronze hardware, Viala is available in any of Jean de Merry’s 12 signature finishes with full custom capabili- ties available. Pope adds, “The Viala is not only beau- tiful but functional with two bi-folding doors up top and six touch-latch doors on the bottom. This feature enables clients to have endless capabilities to house per- sonal treasures.” Joanie Wyll, ASID, of Joanie Wyll and Associates,

Inc. in Dallas recently specified this cabinet for one of her client’s homes. “The finish, scale and styling are out- standing and my client has been raving about the piece — especially the shagreen with the bronze hardware,” Wyll recounts. “It is one of the best cabinets that I have ever used in an installation and is just an example of the special and unique pieces found at Cory Pope.”
