com Why Business Golf: As an

attorney I attended networking events and I would talk about my love of the game. Women would tell me they wanted to get involved but they didn’t know how. So I started talks to introduce the game and its networking benefi ts to men and women alike. Products: “On Course for Business Women and Golf” published in 2002 by John Wiley; the “Golf to the Green” interview series, a collection of audio interviews with Jerry Rice, Joe Theismann

and Annika Sorenstam among

others, offers insight on how to play the real game of business

golf (released in 2010). Her favorite interviews in the “Golf to the Green” series: It was a pleasure to talk to Jerry Rice; I was a fan when he was a 49er. He amazed me with his work ethic and integrity. He was extremely serious about making the cut at the Nationwide Tour event. I also thoroughly enjoyed Annika Sorenstam. Speaking to the best female golfer in history was humbling; to hear about her new career plan in business was exhilarating. Favorite Foursome: My niece and nephew and my 82-year-old dad (pictured) playing at Mira Vista; you can’t beat that.

Future Plans: I want to do some webinars to work with anyone who has Internet ac- cess. We all learn how to play. But being a golfer includes so much more. I want to fi ll in the back story for developing golfers, educating them about etiquette, equipment and money-saving tips. I started working with women but have expanded to men.

I’m just amazed by the work of the NCGA Foundation. It has subsidized rounds and buckets of balls for thousands of kids. To be able to contribute to that is a great thing to do.

NCGA Foundation Donation: I have a niece and nephew and they became active in golf very young. I’ve seen the benefi ts the game provides them. I wanted to support the NCGA Foundation so more children can benefi t. (Woo is donating up to $100,000 from the profi ts of her “Golf to the Green” series.)
