MARKET REPORT GARDEN & GROUNDS CARE continued

New GreenMech duo

Saltex provides GreenMech with the opportunity to launch two new machines. Powered by either a 22hp petrol engine or a 20hp diesel unit, the Arborist 13/23 is a professional woodchipper, weighing under 750kg and with a capacity of 130mm. Featuring a 130 x 230mm letterbox-

style opening that allows forked branches to be processed easily, the in-feed is managed by a no-stress control, with material

being chipped by a specially developed Disc-Blade system. The machine can be supplied with either a twin or single roller feed. The new CS100TMP has been derived from the popular CS100

woodchipper but is driven by a compact tractor’s power-take-off. The machine can be mounted on a tractor’s Category 1 three-point linkage or, for the trailed version, towed directly to the work site. It can chip material up to 100mm in diameter, with a throughput of up to 6m3

/hour. The wide in-feed chute is

designed to facilitate loading armfuls of hedge or shrub prunings, which are ejected from the adjustable discharge tube over distances of up to 10m.
