SAINTS GO GREEN

In an effort to be green and save green, the Siena athletic department went digital with all sports publications for the 2009-10 season. The MAAC-wide initiative is part of a growing national trend.

In lieu of the traditional printedmedia guide, the department partnered with YUDU to produce dynamic, interactive on-line publications to promote its 18 Division I sports teams. Other publications, such as this annual report and themen’s basketball Fan Guide were produced almost entirely in a digital format. If you haven’t had the chance to viewone of these carbon-neutral publications, log on to SienaSaints.com today and click on your favorite sport page!

The conversion to digital publications also increased the reach of the department’s publication. Below you see the number of media guides printed in 2008-09 versus the number of people who viewed the new digitalmedia guide on-line in 2009-10.
