The role:


We are seeking an experienced Naval Architect to join our future projects group, leading the delivery of naval architecture within exceptionally fast-paced programmes of work. These could include new design export warships, reactivation and modernisation of decommissioned RN vessels for sale overseas, mid-life upgrade programmes for non-UK warships and specific tasks under the UK Naval Design Partnership. The role will involve significant elements of concept design, as well as detailed design through to programme delivery. You’ll also provide expert guidance to support bid teams and sales teams in working with prospective customers.


The individual:


Of graduate calibre, you’ll have solid industrial experience in a commercial or naval-based Naval Architecture role.


You’ll also demonstrate a successful background in large and complex marine engineering programmes, coupled with an understanding of the UK MoD warship design standards and processes. An exceptional communicator, you’ll have the finely honed interpersonal skills and gravitas to influence at the highest levels.
