Re-branding for Charlton House
Independently owned catering company, Charlton House, has announced a major rebranding programme to consolidate and strengthen the company’s position for the future.
Now operating under the parent company name, CH&Co, the organisation has created five specialist divisions: Charlton House (staff catering at B&I sites), Lusso (City and fine dining), Chester Boyd (livery halls and private venues), It’s the Agency (venues and events booking agency – launching on 21 June 2010) and Ampersand (iconic venue catering). Robyn Jones, co-founder and chief executive of CH&Co said: “One of our fundamental core values is to offer a bespoke service. The rebranding of the business allows us to focus totally on the individuality of each market sector and the needs of our clients within each of those markets. It recognises our distinct areas of expertise and provides a much clearer definition to potential clients of what we can offer”.
With its roots historically in staff catering within the business & industry sector, the company has successfully developed into a multi-disciplinary organisation in recent years, with a growing portfolio of clients in the commercial sector, venues, public catering and most recently, in the highly prized City livery hall sector.
Robyn Jones said:”The rebranding gives us a better platform to retain existing business and develop further within each niche market to enable us to compete with smaller, specialist operators. Above all, it ensures that we continue to provide a truly personal service through smaller teams.“ The investment in the rebranding includes new London offices at the heart of the City at 13 Devonshire Square where Chester Boyd, Lusso, Ampersand and It’s The Agency will be based.

Building & Facilities Management – June 2010
From the 11th-13th May, Belzona attended the Facilities Show 2010. This is the first year Belzona has attended the event, therefore it was an exciting opportunity to raise awareness of Belzona solutions within this industry. For this particular event, rather than utilising the usual pop up stands, the Belzona team created a working module to showcase the total capability on solutions and service support. Belzona carried out a number of different live applications across the three days event including cut end corrosion solutions for steel corrugated roofing, overhead concrete repairs with permanent shuttering, waterproofing of porous brickwork and also Belzona’s range of safety grip systems for hazardous slip areas. This was a great chance for visitors to the stand to see both the product manufacturing side of Belzona, but more importantly, their dedicated service teams who can provide a full supply and apply service.
The event was a great success for Belzona and we were pleased by the

quality and quantity of leads generated which were a good mixture of public and private sector business including local Councils and Universities. In addition, leads from overseas visitors which will pass through Belzona’s global distribution network of over 140 Distributors operating in around 120 countries. Utilising advanced polymers is an ideal solution for maintenance and refurbishment as they are safe, fast action, versatile and satisfy the demand faced by specifiers and contractors.
