Bauder Expansion continues
Leading flat roof waterproofing manufacturer, Bauder, has enjoyed substantial growth over the last decade, and with this set to continue the company has expanded into new a premise which doubles their current offices and warehouse facilities.
Andrew Mackenzie, Managing Director at Bauder says “We are pleased to announce that as part of our business strategy the company has relocated into a head office with integrated warehouse. It is an exciting time as we prepare for the next step in the company’s development and our new facilities will enable further growth over the coming years.”
The new premises are located within Ipswich, the county town of Suffolk, overlooking Landseer Park and maintain the company’s links with the town which began in 1979. The building, previously occupied by Lister Locks Ltd, underwent an extensive £600K refurbishment programme to convert it into
contemporary offices and warehouse with modern freight handling capabilities. The works were carried out by local companies Ingleton Wood, a multi- disciplinary building consultancy in Colchester, and Barnes Construction who carry out a wide range of construction and refurbishment projects throughout the UK and are also based in Ipswich. The expansion of the UK operation is part of a two year investment plan by the Bauder Group worth over £25 million. Just last year the German-based company opened a new high-tech £16 million membrane manufacturing plant for the production of high quality single ply waterproofing membranes.
