Spring Community Service Day
On a glorious day, Friday, May 21, the Chamber celebrated the 5th Community Service Day, engaging over 40 volunteers. At two Cambridge locations, Cambridge City Hall and the Cambridge Common, volunteers spent several hours planting flowers in conjunction with the Cambridge DPW. They also cleaning tree wells along Massachusetts Avenue in Central Square. Companies represented included: Cambridge Savings Bank, Cambridge Trust, Danversbank, Le Meridien Hotel Cambridge, Hyatt Regency Cambridge, MoveSmart, HMFH Architects and more. Lunch was generously donated by Stonehearth Pizza.

It was an fun and satisfying experience for everyone. It was easy to see the fruits of participants’ labor as they walked away from Cambridge City Hall and the Common and we hope it will be enjoyed by the business and residential communities for the next several months.
