quickly streamline communications and re- engineer their processes to maximise staff efficiency and productivity, notes Mark Seemann, Product Strategy & Development Director at Outsourcery (sponsor of the Connectivity Award category).
“Hosted Unified Communications allows your existing employees to get more done in a working day, and that means faster sales, better cashflow and improved customer experience,” said Seemann. “As a hosted service this technology can be used from literally anywhere there is an Internet connection, a head office, site office, home office and laptop using a 3G card.”
This technology is perfect for customers wanting to get the most out of their communications without further hardware upgrades, Seemann observes. “Since hosted Unified Communications complements existing customer PABX infrastructures, it is the perfect product for the comms channel, allowing resellers to grow their opex-based service revenues without destroying their existing capex based-business model,” he added.
Seemann also noted that a low, flexible monthly rental will insulate customers from further capital expenditure and benefit them with instant cost savings from employee productivity gains. “For these reasons alone, the size of the hosted UC market in the UK is to be expected to grow exponentially over the next three-five years,” he said.
