The shape of things to come
Inks took centre stage on Josero's Sign and Digital UK stand, which enabled visitors to familiarise themselves with Josero's Triangle and Bio inks
his year's Sign and Digital UK show saw Josero make a splash with a range of Bio inks, which it introduced to the UK market during the event. The inks are made from renewable plant based sources and conform to EU Reach regulations. Josero believes its customers will now be able to save money with no loss in quality and have the opportunity to provide a greener solution for their customers. Bio inks are available for a rapidly expanding range of printers including Mutoh, Mimaki and Roland equipment, plus many superwide printers.

During the exhibition, a range of Bio and Triangle inks for wide format and superwide format printers were showcased. The entire Triangle portfolio including the solvent, UV inks and Bio, covers most wide and superwide printers including machines from all the major manufacturers.
Josero has already carried out a number of conversions, both in the UK and Ireland, following the show and plans to carry out more over the next few months. Clients will receive advice and support during their transition from Josero’s sales and technical team as well as their local dealer.
In fact, visitors to the stand were able to talk to a high profile team, comprising not only technicians to run the machines, but also all of Josero’s directors. Representatives from Josero’s UK and Irish dealer networks were available on the stand so customers had the opportunity to meet their local dealer. Inx Digital - EMEA vice president of sales, Paolo Capano, was also present throughout the event. He was delighted with the impact Josero has made on the UK market, commenting: “The team was busy every day and the potential customers who visited our stand were impressed by the level of technical and sales support the Josero team offer.”
Essential extras
Other products exhibited on the stand, included the company's range of spare parts, print heads and service contracts. Josero supplies a range of spare parts for both wide and superwide printers. The majority of parts such as dampers, filters, wiper blades, cleaning fluid, pumps, tubing and capping stations and printheads are kept in stock at Josero’s head office in Cambridge and are delivered within 24 hours of an order being placed.

Although printheads are often considered a spare part, Josero believes the printhead is the key component of any inkjet printing machine and requires real expertise to be supplied and/or fitted. Josero

keep a large number of print heads in stock and the majority are supplied within 24 hours. Brands include Xaar, Spectra, Konica, Seiko and Epson.
In keeping with its commitment to provide a full service solution, most Josero dealers offer competitively priced service contracts and where this is not possible, Josero will offer service contracts directly. Not only will these contracts offer at least the same level of service as the OEM provider, they can be as much as 50 per cent cheaper than the OEM offerings.
Josero has a comprehensive dealer network throughout the UK and Ireland, all selected to ensure that they are knowledgeable and technically adept and capable of providing the best customer service possible.
Reseller addition
Earlier this year Josero set up a new reseller agreement with DTL Supplies for the South West of England and Wales. DTL Supplies provides equipment, medias, adhesives and laminates, substrates, accessorises and now inks to the exhibition, sign and display industry.
DTL Supplies' Richard Cummins, commented: “We already provide our customers with a range of products centred around printing and finishing but until recently we haven't offered ink. We just couldn't find any products we were happy with, not only in terms of product quality and price, but just as importantly, in terms of support from the ink manufacturer.
“Although it’s taken us some time to choose the correct inks, I feel sure we have made the right choice. I have been pleased with the quality of the Triangle inks and with the help from Josero. All the Josero team seem knowledgeable about their products and their use in the real world. So far interest from our customers in Triangle inks has been excellent and we have already carried out a number of installations, which have all been quick and simple.”
