Master Magnets Stand: C7

Master Magnets will again be exhibiting at the Hillhead show this year, making it the company’s 6th consecutive appearance at the exhibition. The Mastermag stand will again be located on the ramp leading down to quarry, where the company plans to have a

range of Magnetic Separators and Metal Detectors on stand. The Magnets that will be shown on stand will include the self- cleaning Overband Separator and a Suspension Magnet. Overbands are commonly used for the continuous removal of ferrous contaminants whereas Suspension Magnets are used to remove much smaller amounts of ferrous contamination.

Alongside the Magnets, visitors will also be able to view some of the Metal Detectors that are most often supplied to the Quarrying Industry, such as the TN77 unit for detecting ferrous and manganese contaminants and the QTA unit, which can be used for the detection of all tramp metals.

New Holland Stand: X1

New Holland will showcase its dedicated offering of specialist equipment for the quarry, demolition, waste handling and infrastructure industries at Hillhead 2010. Visitors to the stand will see the E215B crawler excavator featuring specially designed protections and cab guards Also featured will be the D180 dozer with ripping equipment for the quarry and demolition industries.

Among the equipment on show for waste handling applications will be the L185 skid steer loader and W270B wheel loader, as well as the brand-new W170B in waste handling configuration, which can be equipped with features designed to ensure reliable and safe operation in this industry's applications, from sorting materials in transfer stations and recycling facilities to preparation and maintenance of landfill sites. Dominating the stand will be the 28,270 kg New Holland E265B crawler excavator featuring heavy-duty booms, extra strong carriage and high torque common-rail engine, for a powerful performance in heavy construction work.

Pulsar Process Measurement Stand: P125

Pulsar's business is about excellence in non-contacting level and flow measurement and control. Well established in the utilities and minerals industries, their control equipment has been used in thousands of installations over the last decade. Pulsar’s success was recently rewarded with the Queen’s Award for Industry 2009.

Pulsar will be demonstrating its range of sophisticated, accurate devices, equally suited to solids and liquids measurement, including the self-contained IMP unit for level monitoring, blackbox, level measurement designed to fit within a distributed control setup, and Ultra, a full-function control system designed for self-contained measurement and control of pumped or fed materials by level. PulsarGuard 2010 is a non-invasive acoustic monitor designed to monitor solids flow in pipes. Other Pulsar products include high-accuracy open channel flow measurement, pressure transducers and sludge interface monitors.

Rulmeca Stand: P88

Rulmeca UK will be exhibiting many products from its vast range of conveyor components including its highly regarded Troughing and Impact idler sets which are all manufactured at its Corby works in Northamptonshire. The company says its main feature is its renowned PSV sealing arrangement proven in all the worst bulk handling applications in quarrying and mining around the world. Rulmeca’s latest HDPE range of Top rollers will be displayed along with various other examples of PVC and rubber disc rollers alongside examples of conveyor covers. Working and cutaway versions of our Motorized Pulley principle will be displayed. With a current range up to 132kW they are proving extremely successful with its powerful, yet compact design and excellent sealing qualities. Rulmeca will also be announcing details of its larger range of Motorized Pulleys available later in 2010 with powers up to 250kW.
