Hillhead Preview
R. A. Rodriguez Stand: P126
At this year’s Hillhead R. A. Rodriguez will be focusing on drives, bearings and specific conveyor products. Bryant Telescoper take-ups provide several distinct advantages over conventional alternatives. They have an easy four-bolt assembly, use standard pillow block bearings and require a short conveyor bed. The Hillhead stand will naturally feature these products together with a wide range of conveyor rollers including the low cost, yet high quality, tapered rollers. Kaydon is a world leading manufacturer of high performance bearings and at Hillhead, R. A. Rodriguez – its sole UK agent – will be showing a range of the company’s products for high duty applications. These include worm drive rotation systems that combine the benefits of compact design, reduced component cost and outstanding reliability.
Completing the main displays will be examples of MTK+ bearings. Manufactured to very high standards, the company’s cylindrical-, tapered- and spherical roller bearings are ideal for arduous applications.
Rhewum Stand: C14
Rhewum (G.B.) will be exhibiting its type WA and WAU screening machines at this years Hillhead Exhibition. The WA machine is constructed in Stainless Steel and is suitable for the screening of fine materials typically below 8mm such as limestone and fine aggregates. It has an in-built automatic cleaning mechanism which is a must for fine products that have a moisture content up to 10%. The WAU screen employs the same operating principle as the
WA machine but uses out-of-balance motors for drive power instead of electromagnetic drives. This allows the screen to be used on applications where larger material is screened at a higher throughput rate.
Skako Comessa Stand: N24
Skako Comessa introduces Skako Vibration. Over the next few months, the company will be re-branding its Skako Comessa name, to the company specific title of ‘Skako Vibration’. You will still be able to access its website and contact the company during the changeover, as diverts will be in place from existing details.
The stand will feature examples of the complete range of vibratory drives, modular feeders, an open vibratory conveyor and a screen.
Three classic modular feeders will include both totally enclosed and open designs, with either electro-magnetic or unbalanced motor drives.
There will also be a heavy-duty vibratory conveyor with mechanical exciter to suit a hydraulic drive motor, and a screen with centre shaft elliptical drive. This screen demonstrates the ‘Huck’ bolted construction method for the company’s heavy- duty machines.
Completing the exhibits will be a ‘DS’ type, geared mechanical vibrator, as used on the heaviest duty primary feeder grizzlies and horizontal screens.
SN Engineering Stand: H23
As a design & supply specialist of materials handling equipment to the OEM market in the UK & Europe this exhibition has been eagerly anticipated to showcase its portfolio and services. Hillhead 2010 will see the official launch of the SN8000 series Outloader, a natural progression of its popular SN7000 series of loading bellows. The 8000 series incorporates an internal dust filter & extraction fan. Also on show will be SN Engineering’s comprehensive & highly competitive range of dust extraction spares, the Eco-Spare range.
Being showcased for the first time in the UK will be the range of heavy duty flow control; in-line lump crushers and diverter valves that have proven themselves within the UK and Europe’s heavy industries, ranging from power stations to cement works, and compliment SN Engineering’s success in offering quality, cost effective solutions in bulk powder materials handling equipment.
