Krohne
Stand: P129
Krohne is a worldwide leader in the development and production of innovative and reliable process measuring technology, and is one of few manufacturers able to offer such a comprehensive range of level and flow technologies.
At Hillhead 2010, Krohne will be showcasing its latest innovation in level measurement; the Optiwave 6300C, a non- contact radar (FMCW) level meter ideally suited to measuring distance, level and volume of powders, granulates and other solids. The Optiwave 6300C features an ellipsoidal shaped drop antenna, which does not allow anything to adhere to it, making it extremely effective for accurate measurement in very dusty conditions. Krohne’s expertise in level measurement dates back to 1989 when the company introduced the first radar level measuring instruments for process technology. Today Krohne’s range of level technology includes the Optiwave and Optiflex level meters, the latest generation of radar and TDR technology, along with a complete series of level switches and mechanical level meters.

Midland Industrial Designers Stand: R2
Midland Industrial Designers, which celebrated 50 years in business in 2009, will have the market-leading TWA rotary valve on display. Originally made from ni-hard, the valve now comes with an alumina ceramic lined option for the ultimate in rotary valve longevity. Combined with the maintenance free mechanical sealing system, the valve offers maximum performance for minimum maintenance.
Also on display will be the cartridge mechanical shaft seals, developed for use on screw conveyors, mixers and other equipment handling abrasive powders. Engineered from the same components as the ultra-reliable rotary valve seals, the cartridge seal is simple to fit, requires no maintenance and prevents leakage from rotating shafts.
MID is also pleased to announce a worldwide distribution agreement with Claudius Peters, Germany. Its worldwide network will handle the sales and service of the TWA rotary valve, concentrating on abrasive applications such as the cement, power generation and minerals industries.
Mogensen Raw Materials Handling Stand: N11
Mogensen will be showing three machines at Hillhead 2010: a Type SRSL 1700/1000 1-metre wide, open, single deck vibratory screen, which offers a cost-effective option for lighter screening duties such as trash processing, low tonnage applications and fine separations; and a Type C1544 1.5 metre wide enclosed, 4- deck screener for high-accuracy, multiple separations. Both of these machines are fitted with Invicta rotary electric vibrators. The third machine on display will be a Type TRH 1360 2570 vibratory feeder powered by an Invicta hydraulic vibrator. This machine is designed for use in both mobile and static plant, in which an electrical power supply is not available.
