BBC2’s Michael Portillo-fronted Great British Railway Journeys hired two PMW-EX1s from Pro Motion Hire to cope with the cramped logistics on a train. Pro Motion Hire md Duncan Martin says the EX1’s “outstanding picture quality makes it the camera for encumbered HD production.”
BBC Storyville feature doc Horses from West Park Pictures was shot on a HDW-750P hired from Top Teks plus an EX1 from Visual Impact. According to director Liz Mermin, exterior shots were taken with the HDW-750P, while the EX1 showed impressive latitide in difficult lighting conditions
