WHY DID YOU CHOOSE MIDDLESEX UNIVERSITY?


When I came for the open day at Middlesex I felt so welcomed and at ease. It’s given me everything I wanted; great friends, great student life, a sociable atmosphere that welcomes everyone from all backgrounds – and a great education of course!


WHY DID YOU CHOOSE NURSING? Nursing is a great career path, as it’s so diverse and you could go down so many paths with just one degree.


WHAT WOULD YOU SAY ARE THE MAJOR SELLING POINTS OF THE COURSE? All of it! I absolutely loved my course. We get to do placements in areas such as A&E, theatres and medical wards, as well as opportunities to study abroad – with academic and financial support from the University. And if we have a desire to study in a particular way, or have suggestions about the ways we study, our lecturers will go out of their way to help us.


HOW DID YOU FIND THE COURSE TUTORS? I’ve studied in state schools, and private boarding schools and colleges across the UK, and some of the best lecturers I’ve ever come across have been at Middlesex. I’ve been so fortunate to have such brilliant, experienced, talented lecturers that have a passion to teach and love the modules they teach – it makes learning so much more enjoyable.


IS THERE ANYTHING YOU’RE PARTICULARLY PROUD OF? I’m proud of choosing nursing as my degree, and I’m proud of being a Middlesex student.
