In order to provide the client with the best possible solution in
the design and construction of the bins, GAME Engineering
searched the market for a suitable high quality bin supplier, and
the final decision was to purchase the bin section of the project
from SCE of Belgium. (Silo Construction Engineering Limited).
SCE were chosen as they could ensure a quality product,
erected on time, and at a cost effective price.
The entire bin block was enclosed in twin skin composite
cladding featuring high thermal insulation properties to protect
the product from the effects of external temperature.
The bins, each with a capacity of 40 Te allow storage of the
many products made by Wagg Foods, and from the new and
existing bins products can be accurately and continuously
blended together, screened and packed into bags at a rate of 25
TPH through both existing and additional new packing machinery.
GAME Engineering was appointed as Project Managers,
Principal Contractor and CDM Coordinators and also provided
civil engineering to construct the bin foundations, electrical
installation and plant control by working closely with specialist
sub contractors in these fields.
