Childish language is for adults only
I think the language used in your recent
newsletter is entirely inappropriate (“SPOT
Messenger is 30 percent smaller…but still
saves 100 percent of your ass,” Kayak Angler
News, September 19, 2009.)
“Saves your life” would be far more
professional. Don’t kids read your magazine?
If this kind of childish language continues, I
will cancel.

A Fisherman’s Best Friend
Nice rack
I have attached a photo of my homemade rack.
Angle iron hangs from the garage rafters. The
kayaks rest on a threaded steel rod held in
place by nuts and washers. The rod is covered
with PVC pipe that rolls as the boat is lifted
and pushed into place. Be sure there is room
to maneuver the kayak between the rafters. I
park my car underneath. The padding protects
unsuspecting heads.

I am an avid kayak angler from Windsor,
Ontario. I have been fishing the Detroit River,
Lake Erie and Lake St. Clair watersheds for
