Q: What are you looking forward to at Travel
Technology Europe 2010?
A: We've spent a while finding out what mobile services
really work for our customers, and we'd love to see
what other companies have been doing in this space.
Q: What are the hot topics in the industry at the moment?
A: There is a growing emphasis on green options for
travel, such as carbon offsetting and rail rather than air.
Keeping customers well-informed and giving them the
choices they're asking for will also be a big challenge.

Q: What is your favourite travel destination?
HEAD OF
INNOVATION
A: Morzine in the French Alps. In the summer with the
LASTMINUTE.COM
kids, there’s loads to do, great scenery, great food,
lots of places to visit nearby.
Speaking at the

Q: What are the technologies to look out for in 2010?
Conference
A: Mobile travel tools will start to go mainstream; the
9 February
Semantic Web will finally take off in the form of 13:45pm
marked up details and reviews for online travel
products using microformats; and, finally,
everything will go real-time.
Q: What will you be speaking about?
A: Why the lastminute.com labs team is looking at
mobile innovation for 2010, what we've learned from
our customers about their needs, and the services
and applications we've launched recently.
