Be an inspiration – become an NUT learning rep
Lifelong learning is a key issue for the 21st century. The promotion of learning, whether for personal or professional development, has become core union work.
By supporting and encouraging their colleagues, NUT learning reps are having a major impact. Their work ranges from promoting union learning to encouraging a healthy work/life balance. It is an inspiring and rewarding role.
Read more about the activities of NUT learning reps in the 2009/10 Learning Report magazine. Order your copy from Preeya Anand on 020 7380 4822.
Train for the role at Stoke Rochford Hall
If you are interested in the learning rep role, why not sign up for the next NUT accredited course? It is being held at the union’s training centre, Stoke Rochford
Hall in Lincolnshire, from Monday 5 to Friday 9 July 2010.
The course is free and travel expenses are covered by the union.
