Electronic notice boards
W
ith LCD screens becoming more affordable, educational establishments can
now reduce the costs and time associated with traditional message boards
and printed communications by using Electronic Notice Boards.
Navaho's MediaCAT Digital Signage player allows Electronic Notice Boards in
reception areas, canteens and information points to be implemented quickly and
easily.
As with all communications, the key to success is putting your message in
front of the right people at the right time. Accomplishing this in an
educational environment with hundreds of people spread throughout the
campus needs a communications system that can ensure up-to-the-
minute delivery of current news and information and most importantly,
can be visible to all.
Navaho's MediaCAT enables dynamic delivery of content straight to
the notice board allowing changes to news and information to reach
pupils, parents tutors and visitors immediately. The MediaCAT
player is managed via an easy to use, web-based interface that can
be accessed from any PC or Mac on your network without the
need to install any client software. Navaho's MediaCAT supports
multiple user access rights, giving tutors the ability to make
information changes whilst leaving administrators in control of
templates and infrastructure.
To help further reduce costs, the MediaCAT player draws
less power than an energy saving light bulb and can be
programmed to turn the screen off when not in use.
Navaho Technologies is a pioneering technology
company specialising in the development of powerful
electronic communications solutions built to service
the high expectations of today’s demanding users.
