.H.E. Ltd, exclusive distributors for Beam central vacuum systems, this
month launches the very latest Beam Platinum range.
Manufactured by Electrolux, the Beam Platinum Series central vacuum
represents the latest generation of the proven Beam system. A Beam
central vacuum provides up to five times the suction power of a
portable, yet uses less electricity through its specially designed motor.
The system comprises a main appliance located remotely, under stairs,
in a plant room or in a basement. A small network of hidden pipe runs
throughout the building terminating in wall or floor inlets into which an 8
metre vacuum hose can be fitted whenever cleaning is required. It is
possible to save up to 30% on cleaning time, as there is no need to plug
and unplug cables or frequently empty vac bags.
There are also none of the hazards of tripping over cables. The high
performance motor consumes 18% less energy than portable vacuums for
the same cleaning power. Dirt is completely removed from the property,
including pollutants and allergens.
The Beam central vacuum system is thus ideal for new build or
refurbished properties. The appliance itself has an expected life of 20
years or more, is extremely quiet, has up to four times the dirt capacity
and requires little maintenance.
There are four models of appliance in the Beam Platinum Series with
capacities to cover floor areas up to 1,000m”/10,764sqft. All the
appliances have quiet, energy-efficient motors with sound levels of about
62dB and feature self cleaning GORE-TEX filters sifting out particles down
to 0.3 microns. There is a good range of designs and finishes of wall or
floor inlet panels to suit different uses and décor as well as a wide range of
hose lengths and attachments for every application.
