Plan to meet Cambridge’s 2010 leaders on January 28
Mark your calendar now for the CCC’s biannual Cambridge Leaders event on Thursday, January 28, 2010 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Hotel Marlowe. Meet the leaders who will have an impact on Cambridge in 2010.

Elections took place in Cambridge on November 3 and this event will provide members with an excellent opportunity to meet those newly elected to public office. Official results were announced on Friday, November 13. The major change on the Cambridge City Council was the ousting of Larry Ward by Leland Cheung. In the School Committee race, former members Richard Harding and Alice Turkel return to the Committee, filling one open seat and replacing Joe Grassi.

The winners for Council in order of finish: Henrietta Davis, E. Denise Simmons, Timothy J. Toomey, Jr., Craig A. Kelley, David P.Maher, Kenneth E.Reeves, Sam Seidel, Marjorie C.Decker, Leland Cheung.

School Committee winners in order of finish: Richard Harding, Jr., Nancy Tauber, Marc C. McGovern, Alfred B. Fantini, Patricia M. Nolan, Alice L. Turkel.
