Calypso, Newham Council Catering Services and the Cumberland School are
launching a ‘Surf Anywhere’ event, plus are creating a Surf Shack Café during
the event to serve themed, healthy lunches to enhance the connection with
healthy eating and the sport. Calypso’s surf coaches will teach hundreds of
youngsters dry-land surfing techniques and they will get to try ‘Street Surfing’ –
the closest thing to surfing on land.
Cooke continues, “Government food policies will continue to promote the
trend for healthier eating and our mission is to reflect these goals and do
whatever we can to promote active lifestyles and healthier drinks.”

been launched – hugely successful in foodservice and schools in particular.
