Many people mistake branding for a logo and strapline, but this is only part of a successful brand. Your own unique brand values, proposition and promise to the market should be reflected in your identity across everything you do, from the behaviour within your business to how you present yourself visually to the outside world, both on and offline. In order to build a strong brand it is important to establish brand recognition and cohesion through consistency of design, styling, messaging and tone of voice. Your website offers a chance to connect with your market, so give users an experience that will make them feel a part of your brand and want to come back for more.

Who are you?

Be clear about who you are and what you do. Sounds simple but how many times have you landed on a website and not known what it is? The user wants information fast and if it doesn’t look relevant it only takes one click and they’re gone. You need to drive traffic to your site, have a clear brand proposition and provide incentives for repeat visits.
