Positive Futures
Positive Futures is a youth inclusion programme working with young people to
motivate and promote positive behaviour. The programme provides a range of
weekly sports and alternative activities for young people from 10 -19 years across
Basildon. The programme encourages young people to take part in street projects
on local estates to promote a healthy and active lifestyle. In addition to the weekly
sessions Positive Futures runs holiday events including basketball and football
tournaments, skatepark events, live sound events including DJ workshops and live
music from local young bands, as well as fishing trips to adventure days.
