Remy
Remington Sureshot of Sugarhill
July 17, 1993 - April 11, 2006
In Memory of Remy...
He came to us with the idea of showing, but he took a back seat to the needs of the 2 legged boy & his college career.
The 2 legged college boy soon moved into a house and had boys of his own, Remy stayed with me.
Remy had a voice that appealed to dry humor and common sense. An old gent with impeccable manners and
a charming personality, ever sensitive to the guest who needed a bully nose in the lap and an aristocratic head
to caress. Young children felt confident in reading to Remy & on other days he enjoyed listening to music & students
as they played their piano or sing their arias. He never missed a lesson! Children could easily pet him because he
was go very gentle. His favorite walk was along the Shark River Marina, with all its delicious smells coming up from
the docks. The gulls, herons and swans were his amusement. The tired fishermen were always ready to bid him a
good day with a gentle pat on his head.
Remy, You Will Live Forever In My Heart....
