Coin Tray Invention
At age 26, Arthur Tauck Sr. accidentally
dropped a cigar box of dimes while
working as a bank teller and was
dismissed from his job. Undaunted, this
enterprising young man designed sturdy
aluminum coin trays and went on the
road as a salesman. Inspired by the beauty
of New England, he soon created his first
tour to share his adventures with others.

Agnes Davis at age 19
June 8 She gives birth to a daughter, Meredith.
Arthur Tauck Sr. Agnes never fully regains her health and
born in Yonkers, NY. dies during a later pregnancy.
