A $30 processing fee is required before attending orientation.
Cash or credit cards only. Students who miss four consecutive
weeks of class will be charged a $10 re-admission fee.
/ New Student Orientation / Registration
GED®
All new or returning adult education students who want to prepare for a GED®
certificate, complete their high school diploma, or improve basic reading and
math skills,
must attend a two-hour orientation.

At these orientations, students register, complete a reading assessment,

and meet with a counselor to discuss options and schedule classes. Bring
a copy of your high school transcript if you have one; the school can request
ARA
one on your behalf if you do not have one. No appointment is necessary.
Be on time to ensure your place. The first 20 people are accepted on

a first-come, first-served basis.
Orientations start August 10 and are every Monday, Tuesday, and
Wednesday throughout August at 1:30 p m and 6:00 p m .
All new high school diploma students must meet the requirements of the
new 190 credit high school diploma plan awarded by the Escondido
Union High School District. Returning students from last year only, have
until June 30, 2010 to complete requirements of the 160 credit plan or the
GED plus 40 credit plan.
