Ikebana is the art of traditional Japanese flower arranging. Design beautiful, original,
harmonious arrangements using a variety of items and fresh or dried flowers and plant
material. Create arrangements for all occasions to be given as gifts or to decorate your own
home. Perhaps you are looking for a job in the floral industry? Ikebana is fun, relaxing, and
easy to learn. Bring garden clippers and a container for your arrangements. There is a $6.00
materials fee for each class or bring your own materials. Day class is appropriate for all
levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Evening class is for beginning to intermediate
levels. Students make and take home their arrangements in day and evening class. Special
occasion arrangements may be made upon request. 5 wks
