A DEAD GOOD IDEA!

A SCOTTISH ENTREPRENEUR HOPES HER NEW BUSINESS WILL BRING A BREATH OF FRESH AIR TO THE FUNERAL INDUSTRY.

Sharron Caddie’s firm, The Dead Good Coffin Company, designs customised coffins in order to make funerals a more personal and unique experience.

From chocolate bar covers to football colours, the company lives up to its tag line - ‘Customised coffins. Dead different.’

Having lost her grandparents four years ago, Sharron was left disillusioned by the lack of choice and options when it came to the funeral arrangements.

She said: ‘When we had to choose the coffins, I didn’t like any of them. The company had no other options and it's not really the done thing to question their limited range.
