Funding innovation while cutting costs is possible – just ask
Frank Marini, chief information officer of Tucson Medical Center.
When looking at how to reduce expenses without compromising
quality, he turned to VHA. By implementing cost-saving
measures throughout the organization, VHA helped
Tucson Medical Center save a record-breaking $10 million
in just one year. The hospital is now able to fund an
electronic medical records system that will save health
care providers time and improve patient care. With access
to shared knowledge and resources, VHA members are
able to achieve much more than they could on their own.
