SOLAS PINSTRIPING KIT FOR KAYAKS
Urinary Infraction Aſter the Spring/Summer 2009 issue, I have lost some respect for this publication. Pee from a kayak? We all know we will have to answer the call of nature when fishing. Tis picture did not have to be included. Fish naked? An essential skill? Come on. As a sport we need to be careful
about keeping our catches alive in tournaments, not displaying dead fish on stringers, and not showing people peeing off their boats—all of which give the “antis” more ammo to take away our right to fish and enjoy the bounty of nature. Be more sensitive to what you put out there for all to see. Scott Lewis via email
Just having a little fun. Sorry. However, falling overboard is the second most re- ported type of fatal boating accident. And holding it too long, too oſten, can build up toxins in your kidneys, bladder, pros- tate and liver. Just ask any long haul truck driver. So this is a serious issue and a Pan- dora’s box. One suggestion you may con- sider is peeing from a sitting position into a water bottle. Juice? No thanks.—Eds.
