Programme content
• Module 1 The Self-Belief Module explores your
personal skills and attributes, beliefs and values
around coaching. Peer on peer coaching.
• Module 2 The Tools and Techniques Module.
Explore and try out different techniques and receive
feedback. Each programme member runs an external
client session.
• Module 3 The Integration Module. Tutor-observed
coaching sessions give you feedback to include in
your portfolio for assessment purposes. There is a
second external client session. A supervision group
process is introduced.
Qualification: After Module 3 you have six months
during which you are required to conduct three
coaching relationships, with at least two sessions in each,
and obtain feedback from the client in each session. A
5,000 word reflective document on your development
as a coach, drawing upon the sources of feedback in your
portfolio of evidence and the portfolio of feedback you
have been building during the modules will form the
basis of the assessment, accreditation and award of the
Certificate, and ultimately accreditation for the Henley
Register of Coaches.
Henley Register of Coaches
A web-based database of all holders of the Henley
Certificate in Coaching, the Register is open-access.
Registration will be automatic for one year from the
award of the Certificate. Ongoing membership of
the register is dependent upon evidence of on-going
professional development.

This programme is designed for those with
some knowledge or experience of coaching.
Programme members are likely to be managers
who wish to develop their personal coaching
skills and/or the coaching culture within their
organisations, professional coaches and those
exploring this option.
