There were several foster mums
needed this year for furry dark brown
bundles with white tips to their tails.
Yes - fox cubs!! Val was the first
foster mum with her cub called Ruby
and then it was Judith with Moby and
Mojo and lots to follow.
Fox Tales
We have over 30 on site but luckily
they are all now in outside grassed
enclosures so it doesn’t take too long
to clean them. I love being able to
glimpse them playing in the long
grass when I go over to feed Hope
the otter cub in the evening.
Because of the lovely facilities that
many of you supporters helped us
build, we have been able to help
other wildlife centres that have limited
pens. But don’t forget, we are always
looking for release sites and if any of
you know of any, do let us know!!
Our Resident foxes have
increased with a new addition of a
female fox who is called Megan. She
was found last year as an orphan cub
and the person who found her, reared
her with dogs. Because of the limited
accommodation available to the
owner, he started to keep her with a
collar on that was attached to a
