Our network of providers


When a client or member needs help, International SOS can find exactly the right assistance provider – in minutes. We do this through our global network of credentialed medical, security and other providers who are available anywhere and at any time.


Using powerful online search tools we can pinpoint the right provider according to need. We also manage the quality of service delivered by our network, which is integrated with our case management system so that each case is dealt with as efficiently as possible, including payment and administration.


Power through technology


Internally, our communications are state of the art. Each local area network is connected via a global data communications network. Our proprietary network, supplemented by the Internet, allows for rapid exchange of information so that International SOS specialists can access information even in remote areas.


When International SOS members get sick or injured, they may have to pass through more than one medical facility, and possibly across international borders. Our global case management system, Magellan, provides regularly updated details for doctors monitoring cases in real time around the world. Information such as x-rays and scans can be attached and viewed from any International SOS alarm center.
