Sentul City, one can look in two different
directions and see large mosques nearby.
Rather than wrangle with opposition,
Pastor Niko proposed, and was granted
permission to construct, the 12,000-seat
Sentul City Convention Center, which is
made available for activities in the com-
munity but also provides a center for heal-
ing, miracles, and prayer for Indonesia
and the nations of the world. This beauti-
ful center is now completed and will host
the International Conference on Care in
August 2009, where Church of God Divi-
sion of Care Ministry personnel and oth-
ers will teach caregivers from across Asia
how to demonstrate the love of Jesus
through benevolence. Adjacent to the
convention center, a 12-story office com-
plex is under construction, which will
house the offices for Pastor Niko’s church
and a prayer tower for all nations.
Training and Accountability
A principal ingredient in the success-
ful expansion of Pastor Niko’s church is a
program of regular training and account-
ability. Once a month, on the Saturday
preceding the first Sunday of the month,
the pastoral leaders of each extension
congregation are summoned for an inten-
sive time of prayer, fasting, training,
vision casting, and impartation with Pas-
tor Niko. Attendance is mandatory, but
in fact, it is eagerly anticipated. Himself
mentored by T.L. Lowery, the man he
affectionately refers to as his spiritual
father, Niko lays hands on each leader
and prays with them, speaking propheti-
cally into their lives and ministries. The
result is leadership development.
Love for Israel
Ironically, this growing ministry is
centered in the most populous Muslim
nation in the world but bears a passion-
ate burden for Israel. Making several trips
