Everything about the Yudu process is geared to helping clients
become as self-sufficient as they wish – or are able – to be.

Managing subscriptions
In reaching this page in the magazine, you will have been
asked for an email address. This notional login process could
have been extended to a more rigorous authorisation proce-
dure where the magazine would only be available to readers
who had previously registered to receive it.
The mechanism for that is a feature of Yudu Pro; the param-
eters being defined by the client online for each publication.
It is only a short step from managing the readership of a
publication in this way, to charging for it either on a regular
subscription basis or for individual editions. That is perhaps
academic in the case of this publication, however, as the title
is free to end users.
A Yudu Pro publication will be normally be hosted on the vendor’s server, but heavy users
with enough bandwidth to prevent restricted access may arrange to host it themselves.
