Moovid 6D Theatres
Kraftwerk does it again with the new Moovid 6D Theatres! Looks like
another new attraction which will dominate the market as the next
invention in several dimension cinemas for the years to come. Moovid
6D adds mobility to 4D and 5D cinemas.
After having done more than 30 4D installations within the last three years Kraftwerk
presented its “state of the art” 5D seats about a year ago. Featuring the latest seat
generation Kraftwerk has already done a great number of different installations from
cruise ship lines through theme parks together with its distribution partner 3DBA and
preferred film partner Nwave.
Kraftwerk 5D seats have been the first in the market, with real motion platforms used
under 4D Special Effect seats to make the attraction even more action packed.
Now Moovid 6D is the mobile version of Kraftwerk’s 5D theatres, adding a turn key
system including everything needed to operate a successful attraction.
Moovid includes the complete housing, built with professional acoustic panels, seat
ramps, stairs, carpets, lighting, air-conditioning – the complete infrastructure necessary. To
make it a real turn-key attraction Kraftwerk has added a cashier counter, modern design
facades and even offers advice in operational issues.
In mid April the Moovid 6D will be presented to the public for the first time ever at
RAAPA in Moscow, with the first installations already having been sold and opening
before summer.
When it comes to number of installations Kraftwerk competes only with another well
known American supplier of 4D theatres, leaving the rest of the industry far behind.
“There is no other system which is comparable in combining highest industrial quality
standards with modern innovation," says distribution partner Roger Houben of 3DBA
about the success of Kraftwerk’s theatres. "Kraftwerk has a highly skilled team with 70
people mainly engineers and technicians who can fulfil even the most complex installation
expectation.”
Kraftwerk was founded in 1993 by Manfred Meier as a supplier for lighting and sound
technology for discotheques and bars, soon becoming famous for its innovative solutions.
With Christian Hofer as the technical director and Markus Beyr the entertainment and
edutainment specialist and sales director, there has no longer been a limit for spreading
Kraftwerk around the world with its innovative multi-media solutions.
Moovid comes in flexible sizes from 24 to 48 seats. Everything has been thought
through even including enough spaces for individual advertisements on the outside
facade.
