The question on mobile investment is illustrative here. The fact that around 20% of
respondents intend to invest in Mobile technology in some way during 2009 is really o

remarkable. It can be seen that many have already dipped their toes in the water but 2009 M
is expected to be the year of Mobile.

32% of respondents have invested in mobile technologies before the beginning of this
year; 22% had planned investments in 2009 or beyond. It is clear that Mobile is on the
agenda for Travel companies but 34% of respondents simply did not know when they
would invest in mobile technology, likely to shift a proportion of these when some of the
obstacles raised in the discussions above are addressed in the upcoming period.
