Some great new products this month including proper Cumberland
sausage from Rodney Flett, recently rated among the Top 10 British
SPECIALS
sausages by the Independent. Rodney has been making sausages
for 45 years and learned his trade under Billy Clague, the manager
of the Co-operative Butchers in Workington, who himself had been
making Cumberland sausage since the 1920s. Now that’s what we
call food heritage.

kippers
Wonderful, wonderful award-
winning kippers, bone-in or filleted,
as you wish. The only way to start
the day we think. Naturally smoked,
no horrid dye or additives, just
pure smoked herring. Bread, cold
unsalted butter, maybe a dash of
horseradish sauce, heaven.
